Iona Turner / Photography by James Robertson

As an artist and maker, I draw inspiration from the sea, especially the North Sea which meets the land near my hometown of Edinburgh and my current location on the coast of Moray in northeast Scotland. This is where I meticulously observe and immerse myself in the local ecology and seascapes to collect materials and context for my art objects, jewellery, and sculptures.
